Who we are

The Train Station Preschool is a ministry of Brightmoor Christian Church (“Brightmoor”, “we” or “us”) at 40800 W 13 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48377, and we operate this website. By using the site you agree to the collection and use of information described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this website collects

Apart from the chat assistant described below, this site is a set of informational pages: it has no accounts, sign-up forms or comment areas, and it never asks for payment details. When you visit, the servers that host the site process standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser and operating system, the pages you view and the time of your visit. That data is used to deliver the pages, keep the site secure and understand how it is used in aggregate. We also use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, as described under “Analytics” below.

Cookies and similar storage

Google Analytics sets cookies on this site (named _ga and _ga_FK6QPW0DXW) that give your browser a random identifier so repeat visits can be counted. They last up to two years and hold no name, email address or other personal details. You can turn analytics off for this browser with the switch under “Analytics” below, which also removes those cookies. The site itself keeps one small flag in your browser’s session storage so the arrival animation plays only once per visit; it holds no personal information and is cleared when you close the tab. Once you open the chat assistant, your recent conversation is kept in your browser’s local storage for a short time, so it is there if you come back, and the chat remembers in this browser that you have seen its privacy notice. Content from outside services, such as the Google map on the Contact page and the fonts served by Google, may collect technical data or set cookies under Google’s own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how this website is used: which pages are viewed, how long visits last, roughly where visitors are (a city or region derived from the IP address, which Google Analytics does not log or store), the type of device and browser, how visitors arrived (for example from a search engine or a link) and actions such as clicking a link to another site or scrolling to the end of a page. We see this information only in aggregate and use it to improve the site. We do not use the advertising features of Google Analytics, and the data is not used to show you ads. Google processes this data under Google’s privacy policy; Google explains its handling of analytics data on its page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Information you give us

When you call, email, book a tour or apply, you share information with the school directly or through the services we use: FACTS for applications, enrollment, tuition and family accounts, and Calendly for tour bookings. Information you enter on those services is governed by their own privacy policies. The school uses what you provide to answer your questions, schedule tours, process enrollment and care for your child, and for related church purposes as described in Brightmoor’s privacy policy.

Automated assistants

The school uses two automated assistants. Calls to 248-900-2824 are answered by an AI receptionist that helps with common questions, and what you share on a call is used to respond to your enquiry. The “Ask a question” chat on this website is an AI assistant provided through Beacon, a chat platform run by Dragos Design Creative for the school, and the next section explains how it handles your information. Both are automated, so please check anything important with the office, and please do not share sensitive information such as medical or payment details with either of them.

Chatbot interactions and information sharing

Our website uses a workflow-based chatbot that may use artificial intelligence (AI) to respond to messages, answer questions and collect information. Responses may be automated or AI-generated and may not always be accurate.

Information you provide during a chat, along with conversation records and summaries, will be passed to the school. This information will also be processed through third-party software and service providers that support recordkeeping, customer relationship management, appointment scheduling, email communications, marketing and automated follow-up, as applicable.

Chat conversations may be reviewed by staff for quality assurance and training, and used to improve FAQs, program descriptions, chatbot instructions and AI-assisted responses. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, such as passwords, payment card details, Social Security numbers or medical information, through the chatbot.

How information is shared

We do not sell, rent or lease personal information. It may be shared with companies that perform services for us, such as Google for the analytics described above and the providers behind the chat assistant, and with related church entities: Brightmoor Christian Church, Novi Christian Academy and the Brightmoor Legacy Foundation. Beyond that, information is shared with outside parties only in aggregate form that does not identify you, or where the law requires it. Without your permission we will not disclose your name, address, email or phone number except to comply with the law or for legal purposes.

Links to other sites

This site links to sites that Brightmoor does not own or control, including FACTS, Calendly, Facebook and Google. Those sites are not covered by this policy and may collect information or set cookies under their own terms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Tuition payments and account details are entered on FACTS, not on this site. If we learn of a security problem affecting your information, we will try to let you know as quickly as possible.

Children’s privacy

Children’s safety and privacy are priorities for the school. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website without verifiable parental consent. If you have questions about how a child’s information is handled, or want information about your child removed, please contact the office.

Changes to this policy

This policy is effective as of September 5, 2026, was last updated on October 20, 2026, and is based on Brightmoor’s privacy policy dated June 1, 2023. We may update it, and the latest version will always be on this page. Information collected under an earlier version stays subject to the terms that applied when it was collected.
